Udyam is the latest Msme registration process by the (Government online portal )and certification program. It is a mandatory, Free license given by the Ministry of MSME.

Udyam registration Requirement | Msme registration requirement 

• Aadhar card,
• Pan card,
• Gst number,
• Business address,
• Bank account,
• NIC code,
• Existing enterprises having Udyog Aadhar or EM-II or any other Msme registration are required to register again under the Udyam online portal.

Important Note:

An enterprise shall not file more than one Udyam Registration. However, manufacturing or service
both activities are specified under One Udyam Registration only.

Msme/Udyam registration steps:

Step 1:

Choose one category from the following options:

A. For New Entrepreneurs who are not Registered yet as MSME or those with EM-II
B. You can Migrate to Udyam (Re-Register)
C. Those who already have registration (as UAM For those already having registration) as UAM through the Assisted filling.

Step 2:

Verify Your Aadhar card Number and Name through OTP verification. ( Company or firm or organization may submit their own company name pan and have authorized signatory.

Step 3:

You will be asked to submit your pan category as per your business form category, you will be asked, If you have Filled out your last year’s ITR details. Do you have any registered GST numbers or not?

Step 4:

You will be asked to submit your General details example email/contact/address/any specific plant name and address/official address etc.

Date of Incorporation: If you have a firm name pan then you may submit as per company pan date, or if you have proprietorship then the date your business started Bank details, Manufacturing, or service?

Step 5:

Match your business category with the NIC code provided by the Government of India.

Submit your Nic code.
You also have the option to search automatically as per your manufacturing or service category.
Or You may match your NIC from here.
After NIC submission you will be asked to declare your total number of employees working.

Ministry of Statistics and program implementation. This code is used for various coordination of
statistical data by the Ministry.

Step 6:

You may mention, If you have any plant or machinery investment costs and any turnover amount. If you are new you may leave zero.
You will be asked whether you are willing to register on Govt E-portal Gem and TReDs portal.

Step 7:

You will have to declare and agree with the submission of your details, and click on Submit.
You will be verified through mobile OTP, submit OTP, and lastly final submit.

Step 8:

After the final submission, you will get one Udyam registration number instantly if everything you filled in correctly.

Step 9:

After some days your Udyam certificate will be uploaded to the portal, and you are able to download it from the print Udyam certificate option.
